The Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum is located at No. 21 Dongjing Road, Xicheng District, Beijing, within the Xiannongtan of the Ming and Qing Royal Altars. It is a specialized museum focusing on the collection, research, and display of the history and techniques of ancient Chinese architecture and Xiannong culture. It is a national second-class museum. 1: The Taisui Hall is the most magnificent group of buildings in Xiannongtan, facing south with a width of seven rooms, black glazed tube tiles with green edges, a gable roof, and painted decorations. There are three steps in front of the hall. The east and west wing halls of Taisui Hall each have a width of eleven rooms. The south side is the Worship Hall, also with a width of seven rooms, facing Taisui Hall. The exhibitions of the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum are mainly concentrated in this group of buildings. 2: The caisson ceiling of the Zhengjue Hall of Longfu Temple in Beijing is suspended from the ceiling of Taisui Hall. It was removed from the main hall due to an earthquake in 1976 and moved to the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum in 1989, where it was restored in 1995. The top of this caisson ceiling features a star map with more than 1,400 stars.
