I've taken my parents to Beijing 5 times... I'm obsessed with this mountain view private hot spring courtyard.
Girls, I finally checked in to this private hot spring courtyard I've been wanting to visit for a long time on Friday~
1️⃣ It's so comfortable to soak in the hot spring in this season, it's not stuffy
The drive here was super smooth, and parking was very convenient. The short-legged cats in the yard... are very friendly, and seeing them instantly puts me in a good mood! The entire yard is decorated and designed with a Zen feel, the placement of flowers, plants, trees, and stones all have a sense of design, any angle is a work of art
2️⃣ In the early morning, the housekeeper prepared strong coffee and healthy food Q, and as soon as I went out, I could see the exquisite courtyard and warm cats. There are Heishan named roast house and Yanshou coffee nearby, and the Japanese private hot spring in the mountains is relaxing. Soaking in the private hot spring and watching a movie on the big screen at night is super cozy~
3️⃣ It only takes an hour to drive to Heishanzhai, Yanshou Town, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy the blooming mountain flowers in spring, the clouds and mist in summer, the spring water and tea in autumn, and the warm wine and tea in winter, this place is a must-visit~
Confucius Temple: Wisdom Carried Trough Millennium
#chinatrip
The Beijing Temple of Confucius is a living book of the history of the dynasties that ruled China from the great city. The temple was founded in 1302 during the reign of the second emperor of the Yuan dynasty Temur, grandson of the founder of the Mongolian state Khan Kublai. The temple was built at the beginning of the decline of the short-lived dynasty that arose as a result of the fall of the great Mongol empire of Genghis Khan and saw eleven emperors in less than 100 years. This temple is the second largest temple of Confucius, the largest is located in Qufu, the hometown of the sage. The temple is located near Guozijian, the "Academy of the Sons of the State", so the history of these two buildings is closely intertwined. Guozijian was a higher education institution where students from high-ranking families studied the classics of Confucianism. The academy was built just four years after the foundation of the temple in 1306, and ceased to function in 1905. Here, students took the three-year Kejiu Imperial Examination in the hope of getting high marks and the status of an "advanced scholar" Jinshi (進士), in order to take a high position in government bodies.
The temple complex has an area of 22,000 square meters and includes four courtyards. Among the main structures of the complex are Xianshi Gate (Gate of the First Teacher), Dacheng Gate (Gate of Complete Perfection), Dacheng Hall (Hall of Complete Perfection) and Chongsheng (Hall of Worship). Dacheng Hall is the main building of the temple, where ceremonies of commemoration of the sage were often held. Its gable roof is covered with yellow glazed tiles. Its color was chosen for good reason, because yellow in China was a symbol of imperial power, the element of the Earth. There are also several museums on the territory of the temple of Confucius, the exposition of which introduces the life of the Great Teacher and the culture of his time, as well as presents decorative and applied art products to visitors.
The Palace Museum, a magnificent palace rich in historical and cultural heritage.

Don't miss out on autumn in Beijing this year~ Here are 5 recommended places to enjoy the fall foliage.
Don't miss out on autumn in Beijing this year~ Beijing in October and November is as beautiful as a painting. If you're planning to visit Beijing this fall, you can follow in my footsteps, stroll through the hutongs covered in fallen leaves, and experience the romance of autumn and the accumulation of history.
📜 Recommended Beijing Autumn Citywalk Routes
May Fourth Street: Every year in mid to late October, the poplar trees are golden. This is the starting point of autumn, and it's a sight to behold.
Beiluoguxiang: The hutong entrances are covered in fallen leaves. This is probably what Lao She's autumn in Beiping looked like. The golden leaves sway in the wind, bicycles shuttle through the hutongs, and the air is filled with the smell of fireworks.
Shichahai Park to Shichahai Sugar House: You can see people coming and going in Shichahai. In autumn, the leaves fall, and the sense of destiny is strong.
Jingshan Park: Overlooking the Palace Museum in autumn, the best time to shoot is at sunrise and sunset. The sun shines on the tiles, creating a beautiful scene.
Dongsi Shitiao: A street I always love to visit when I come to Beijing, it's especially suitable for city walks. The coffee shop on Zhangzizhong Road has a sign that says "If you don't come, it'll snow", adding a touch of poetry.
The Temple of Heaven at night, a rare sight of gentleness.
As night falls, I walk alone in the depths of Beijing, with an expectation in my heart - the night view of the Temple of Heaven, a rare sight of gentleness, is quietly waiting for my exploration. 🌟
🌈 When I set foot on this ancient and sacred land, it seemed as if I had traveled back to the prosperous times of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The red walls and blue tiles are more solemn and mysterious under the night, and every brick and stone seems to be whispering, telling the vicissitudes and glory of a thousand years. 🏮
🏛️ The Temple of Heaven, once a sacred place for emperors to worship heaven, has now become a haven for my soul. Here, the hustle and bustle of the outside world is gently isolated, leaving only the tranquility and touch of the heart, and I am closely dependent on it. 🍃
🌌 As night falls, the Temple of Heaven gradually changes into a dazzling evening dress. 20:00 to 21:00 is its most charming moment. In the interlacing of light and shadow, the design concept of "round sky and square earth" is fully displayed, which makes people indulge in this ancient and modern beauty. The inner altar and the outer altar, the circular mound altar and the prayer valley altar, one south and one north, echo each other, as if they can hear the echo of history gently ringing in their ears.
📸 As a photography enthusiast, I naturally won't miss such an opportunity. The outline of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is more charming in the night. I have already prepared a tripod, just waiting to find the best position to freeze this shocking beauty. 📷
🎟️ It is worth mentioning that the tickets for the Temple of Heaven are very friendly, only 15 yuan (April-October), which allows me to enjoy this visual feast. Although the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is not allowed to enter after 5:30 in the afternoon, the scenery outside the wall is equally wonderful, enough to make me linger.
🚗 In terms of transportation, I am also fully prepared. Whether it is self-driving, taxi, subway or bus, you can easily reach the north gate of the Temple of Heaven. Which way to choose depends entirely on my mood and itinerary that day.
🌙 When the night is completely shrouded, the Temple of Heaven is no longer just a simple scenic spot. It has become a melodious poem, a moving picture, and a time worth savoring. Here, I found my own tranquility and beauty, as if the whole world was still for me. 💖
Missed it, have to wait another year|Autumn view at Badaling Great Wall.
If you are traveling to Beijing, you must climb the Great Wall. Badaling in autumn is even more beautiful!
Standing at the starting point of the Badaling Great Wall, I looked up at the towering wall and felt a sense of awe. Every stone seemed to tell the story of the wisdom and sweat of the ancients.
With the autumn wind blowing, I walked slowly along the wall, and the scenery in front of me amazed me. The Great Wall winds its way through the mountains like a giant dragon. Looking down from a high place, the distant mountains are stacked, and the nearby trees are golden, forming a beautiful picture.
This trip to Badaling made me deeply appreciate the grandeur of the Great Wall and cherish this precious cultural heritage. If you are traveling to Beijing during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, don't miss the autumn of Badaling Great Wall!

I can't believe I can eat this in Beijing.
The boss of this restaurant knows how to keep up with the times. I was surprised to see that they have winter melon soup! I decided to invite a few sisters to have a meal together. The winter melon soup with Guangdong characteristics can actually be eaten in Beijing!
I saw a pile of big winter melons at the door before I went upstairs. My horse duck is really big! Cantonese people really know how to eat. This winter melon soup is not available everywhere.
The big winter melon is placed in the pot, playing the role of "hot pot". The soup base inside is boiled with dragon bones and coix seed. After boiling, you can drink winter melon coix seed soup and rinse fresh goods. Finally, we even found a hidden way to eat~
This soup base itself does not add too much seasoning, it is just broth. If you want to have some flavor, you can also add salt and pepper. There are a lot of fresh things in the store that can be ordered, such as Qingyuan chicken, oysters, crispy Anhui fish, pigeons, fresh pork miscellaneous... How to say it? It feels like everything can be winter melon soup.
Hidden eating method, this winter melon soup is cooked for a while, and the winter melon meat on the inner wall can be scraped off~ A bowl is full, and some seafood sauce is poured. Oh, I can eat too much, haha.
Eating at their house is very immersive. The waiters and the kitchen communicate in Cantonese. There are also very cost-effective sugar water in the store. I recommend double skin milk and taro water chestnut. Close your eyes and order, they are all delicious.

🤓 I never expected to travel back 300 years and become a prince, embarking on an immersive treasure hunt of "National Colors and Palace Colors"!

We had a close-up look at nearly 100 rare Qing Dynasty palace embroidery and woven costumes, each of which was like an artistic treasure from history, allowing me to deeply appreciate the unique charm of the Qing Dynasty's Chinese color aesthetics.
As night fell, we moved to the Beijing Jinmao JW Marriott Hotel, which integrated the city's cultural energy into every space experience. Marriott Bonvoy really knows our hearts and incorporated the essence of the national colors from the exhibition into the signature cocktails and cuisine, allowing us to continue exploring the beauty of Chinese art in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere!🍸
I have to say that as a leading global hotel brand, Marriott's collaboration with cultural and tourism projects this time showcased an innovative model of deeply integrating tourism and cultural experiences. The Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Imperial Ancestral Temple, supported by 68 golden nanmu pillars,

This autumn, you must visit Beijing.
Beijing is about to enter its most pleasant months. Lao She once said that one should live in Hangzhou in spring, Jinan in summer, and in Beiping (Beijing) in autumn.
Welcome everyone to enjoy the autumn in Beijing!
"The time around Mid-Autumn Festival is the most beautiful in Beiping. The weather is just right, neither too hot nor too cold, and the length of day and night is balanced. There are no yellow winds blowing from Mongolia in winter, nor are there hailstorms in the summer. The sky is so high and blue... The blue of the Western and Northern Hills deepens, and every evening they are adorned with colorful clouds."

Feel the weight of history in Beijing.
The Palace Museum in Beijing is a place I could spend three days exploring and still not see everything. When visiting Beijing, having a local guide to show you around on a bicycle, introducing the history and local perspectives, offers a multifaceted experience. However, to truly experience the local culture, you must try the local food. In Beijing, you can't miss the Peking duck. I learned for the first time that cold Peking duck can be reheated, but it loses its flavor when reheated. Peking duck is best enjoyed hot right after it's served; otherwise, it can taste a bit gamey when cold. When eaten hot, it's delicious, especially the crispy and oily skin. After a satisfying meal, a stroll around Beihai Park to digest, followed by a comedy show, makes for a perfect day!

It's really Beijing! Pretending to be abroad series for a two-day parent-child trip
It's really Beijing! My friends were all asking, thinking I went to Europe. Once again, pretending to be abroad series!
A great place for a weekend parent-child trip in Beijing, Bibo Island at Jinhai Lake is definitely not to be missed! We stayed at a yacht hotel 🏨, with a lake view right outside the window, and you can watch the sunset. With rich entertainment facilities, both adults and children had a great time, and you can even get free island entry tickets 🎫.
Parent-child 2️⃣-day trip guide:
Day1️⃣
After a one and a half hour drive, we arrived at Bibo Island at noon. After checking in, we recommend experiencing the children's playground, archery, horseback riding, rainbow slide, pet feeding, go-karting... There are so many entertainment facilities that you can't finish them all!
In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the hotel's buffet restaurant, with a wide variety of dishes, and kids can find something they like.
After dinner, take the kids to play in the infinity pool. Actually, it's more recommended to go at sunset 🌇, it's even more beautiful here, unfortunately, we missed it. It's no worse than Sanya!
Day2️⃣
In the morning, take a boat ride around the lake, there is one every half hour. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Bibo Island. Then go to the popular photo spot "Weilan Valley Camping Ground" ⛺ to take pictures, it's super beautiful! This is the best place for photos, many wedding photoshoots are done here. The lawn is very nice, camping here is very comfortable!
Check out at noon, and continue to check out other attractions in Pinggu, it's rare to come here. Return to Beijing in the evening to end the weekend "pretending to be abroad" trip.
⚠️Note:
1️⃣ Bring a camera
2️⃣ Bring a swim cap, the infinity pool requires wearing a swim cap to enter
3️⃣ Remember to book the hotel in advance, it's crowded during peak season
4️⃣ You can bring a tent ⛺, suitable for camping and picnicking on the lawn
