Let you see the exhibition from a different perspective

"Endless Moments" is Hiroshi Sugimoto's first institutional solo exhibition in China. At the opening exhibition, UCCA presented a small prism square as a gift. I didn't know what to do with it at first, but after seeing the exhibition, I was inspired and used a prism to take pictures of the exhibition as I saw it. 【Who is Hiroshi Sugimoto】 Internationally renowned artist Hiroshi Sugimoto is known as the "philosophical photographer" "The Last Modernist", his works were collected by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York just two years after his debut, and he won the Nobel Prize in photography, the "Hasselblad Foundation International Photography Award". What to see at the exhibition In Chinese titles, "Endless" and "Moment" are two words related to time. The words with opposite meanings are not only a direct response to the theme of this exhibition, but also an interpretation of the concept of unity of opposites that repeatedly appears in the artist's creation and thinking - new and 1, East and West, moment and infinity, these seemingly opposing concepts come and go freely in Hiroshi Sugimoto's creation. This exhibition reviews the artist's visual art practice from the 1970s to the present. The works on display include a selection of Hiroshi Sugimoto's core photography series including "Theater", "Seascape" and "Electric Field", as well as the artist's rare color photography series "Optical" and the installation work "Anti-Gravity Structure", as well as his latest creation "Brushstroke Impression, Heart Sutra".
