I have stayed at this hotel five times during my five visits to Beijing

Because I had business in the area, I stayed at the Marriott for four days, which was quite comfortable. Service: The hotel provides excellent services such as pick-up at the door and luggage handling. These established hotels are generally good in this aspect. Room Environment: The king room has an area of about 50 square meters, which is quite spacious. However, the facilities are a bit outdated. In comparison, Marriott is somewhat newer, with Marriott > Westin > Pan Pacific in terms of facilities. Amenities: Water is complimentary, and there is also a capsule coffee machine and tea bags available. Other items are charged separately. Cleanliness: The cleanliness is up to standard. The room is well-organized after each cleaning. If you have special requests, you can inform them by phone or leave a note in the room, and the staff will take care of it, which is quite nice. Breakfast: The breakfast is quite good. I haven't had breakfast at other hotels often enough to compare, but Marriott's is slightly better, including offerings like pancake rolls. Pros and Cons: Pros: The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and it's only a 5-8 minute taxi ride to Xidan. There are two intersections to Han Guang Department Store. Cons: There isn't much around the hotel. There's a small mall next door with some dining options, but not as many as Xidan. It's also a bit inconvenient to go downstairs to pick up takeout. Overall, for the price range around 1,000+ RMB, these few hotels are quite similar in pros and cons, but all are livable and not as bad as some reviews might suggest. It's a matter of personal choice. If the location suits you, just choose between Marriott, Westin, and Pan Pacific for a price of a thousand or more. Pan Pacific has the most convenient location but also the most outdated facilities. The prices of these hotels are quite stable, but I still recommend booking in advance. It's worth mentioning that the Marriott lobby is quite newly renovated, and the desserts on the first floor are not worth buying; they taste okay but are too sweet. For hotels priced above 2,000+ RMB, that's a different level altogether, definitely better than these, with more choices, and of course, the cost is naturally higher.
