To the south, there is the Group Ming Lake, and to the north, the scenic Shougang Park is graced with the beautiful Xiuchi

"Xiuchi," originally named "Xiuhu," is located to the west of the No. 3 blast furnace in Beijing's Shougang Park. It was established in 1940 and covers a water area of 34,000 square meters. Xiuchi was originally used for storing the circulating water for iron smelting and is also the earliest large-scale water landscape at Shougang, with a long history and profound cultural heritage. In 2018, after the renovation of Xiuchi, not only was the original waterscape preserved, but the underground space of the original Xiuchi was also utilized to construct an underwater garage and exhibition hall. Xiuchi is connected to the No. 3 blast furnace through an underwater corridor, seamlessly blending the steel of the blast furnace with the beauty of the clear waters.
