Longtan Park, Longtan Lake

For those who can't visit the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, come to Beijing's mini Summer Palace - Longtan Park. The history of this park is quite ancient, having been established in the early years of the People's Republic. The park's infrastructure is relatively complete, with three lakes in the east, middle, and west, covering an area of more than 680 acres and is a national 4A-level scenic spot. June and July are the best months to appreciate the lotus flowers. Near the Longyin Pavilion, there is a large lotus pond with some buds about to bloom and others in full bloom, set against Chinese-style buildings, making it especially suitable for photography. Children's amusement area: The closest entrance is from the northwest gate, near the west pier. There are jungle trains, carousels, fishing, and other activities that children love. Boating: The park has two piers, east and west, where you can rent boats. Sitting on the boat with the breeze is very comfortable. In the lake, there are ducks and big white geese that you can feed with some snacks, and they will swim around the boat.
