The main building is marked with the Chinese character seal script "history", and the east and west auxiliary buildings are temporary exhibition halls and Guangqi Theater, etc. 🔍The first floor is the preface hall, the roof is a star map, implying the starry sky of history, and there is a "Historical Avenue" in the center that shows the timeline of China's historical development, recording the time nodes of the development of Chinese civilization from the beginning to the present. On both sides of the preface hall are two Shang Dynasty chariot pits from Anyang Yin Ruins (from archaeological field excavations) and a cultural relic wall. 🔍The second and third floors need to be looked at carefully, displaying important cultural relics from the Neolithic Age and the Xia, Shang and Zhou periods. Including "Origin of Civilization" (from the Old Stone Age to the New Stone Age) and "Living in China" (the three generations of Xia, Shang and Zhou). The transition from the Old Stone Age to the New Age is mainly marked by three signs, namely the appearance of ground stone tools, the appearance of pottery, and the appearance of agriculture. 🔗The biggest highlights of the exhibition: 1️⃣The red-lettered pottery flat pot and painted dragon-patterned pottery plate from the Taosi site in the southern part of Shanxi in the late Neolithic period; 2️⃣The turquoise dragon ("Treasure of the Town Museum", "Super National Treasure", first open to the public, can correspond to the record of "Dragon Banner Yang Yang, and Bell Yang Yang" in the Book of Songs), copper plaque ornaments, copper jue unearthed from the Erlitou site in Henan (the capital of the late Xia Dynasty); 3️⃣The ivory cup and Simu Xin Ding (a pair, the other one is collected in the Anyang Yin Ruins Museum) unearthed from the Fuhao Tomb exhibition area in Yin Ruins; 4️⃣Deng Zhong copper sacrificial vessel, etc. unearthed from the Western Zhou tomb in Zhangjiapo, Chang'an, Shaanxi. 🔍The fourth floor includes three topics: "Unified Great Country" (historical period after the Qin Dynasty), "Harmony and Fusion" (Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road), and "National Awakening" (the history of Chinese people's salvation after the Opium War). The "Unified Great Country" unit is divided into five sections: "Vast Atmosphere", "Nine Provinces and One Capital", "Governing the Country and Politics", "Human Culture" and "Beauty of Clothing". Since the Qin Dynasty unified the country, it has gone through many dynastic changes and left a colorful historical and cultural mark.
