Ancient pottery in Chinese archaeological museums

The popularity of Chinese archaeological museums never wanes, and I finally got the chance to visit one. My visit to the museum was purely out of interest. Plus, I wanted to see the national treasures, which meant heading to the museum. Is there any museum that doesn't have a few jaw-dropping, universally adored treasures? Of course, one must be mentally prepared to see these treasures because the first sight of them often leads to disappointment for most people. In fact, we all know that these treasures were unearthed, some of them dating back three or four thousand years. If we talk about the condition of these great treasures, some are unattractive, oddly shaped; some are dark and dull, short and stout; some are covered in rust, almost unbearable to look at... However, these are their true colors, which, after the baptism of time, are presented before us. The pottery in the Chinese archaeological museums is a must-see, ranging from ancient times to the Bronze Age, and is still in use today. Despite thousands of years, it still retains its age-old mystery. Perhaps, the more ancient it is, the more mysterious and, consequently, the more intriguing it becomes. The pottery exhibited in the museum is indeed ancient. Its shapes and the characters or patterns inscribed on the vessels spark imagination and admiration for the wisdom of the ancients. Another direct impression it gives me is the continuous heritage of Chinese culture, passing the torch from one generation to the next.
