Imperial Architecture in Beijing

The largest and most representative existing masterpieces amongst China’s ancient sacrificial buildings, and we were lucky enough to see it up close. This beauty in particular is the Altar of Prayer for Good Harvests and is intricately designed with blue and green colors popping out vibrantly under the sun - the earliest building in the Temple of Heaven complex. The complex makes for a great place to visit no matter that time of year; I’ve been in both winter and autumn, but have heard spring and summer are great seasons too.
