Beihai, this beautiful coastal city surrounded by sea on three sides, boasts numerous charming beaches. Qiaogang Beach, adjacent to Beihai Silver Beach, is much more low-key compared to the famous Silver Beach. Actually, Qiaogang and Silver Beach share the same coastline with equally fine sand, but Qiaogang has far fewer visitors. The area around Qiaogang Beach features many buildings with distinctive overseas Chinese architectural styles and cultural streets. Here you can taste authentic Beihai snacks and various seafood. The surrounding commercial facilities are particularly complete, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment. We chose to stay at "Beihai Sea View Caiyun Hotel (Qiaogang Beach Overseas Chinese Cultural Street Branch)," which is right by the sea. You can see the ocean from the balcony, and the beach is just outside the hotel's back door, making it extremely convenient for playing in the sand, beachcombing, and collecting shells. During our days in Beihai, we were lucky enough to see gorgeous sunsets every day. The evening glow at dusk enveloped the entire coast in a misty golden light, perfect for portrait photography.
