I spent a day on Weizhou Island and my spending habits were shattered.

Weizhou Island, a hidden gem in Beihai, Guangxi, is an amazing vacation destination! 🌴 The sea is so clear, the sand is so soft, you won't want to leave. Here are some must-see attractions: 1. Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park 🌋: Here you can see stunning volcanic geological landscapes and beautiful sea views. It's a great place to take photos! 2. Dishui Danping 🏖️: The name is poetic, right? The sunset here is like a painting! The waves crashing against the rocks are so atmospheric. 3. Shiluokou Beach 🏖️: A lively beach where you can swim, play in the sand, sunbathe, and do whatever you want! 4. Catholic Church ⛪: The architecture is unique and full of history. Photography enthusiasts shouldn't miss it. 5. Colorful Beach 🌈: The sunrise in the morning is amazing! The colors on the beach change with the sunlight, it's magical. 6. Shell Beach 🐚: As the name suggests, there are many beautiful shells here. Kids will love it. 7. Nanwan Street 🛍️: A lively street with lots of food, fun, and souvenirs to take home. As for food, you must try these: • Seafood feast 🦞: The seafood on Weizhou Island is super fresh and affordable. You can have it steamed, grilled, or fried, however you like! • Shrimp dumplings 🥟: Thin skin and big filling, one bite is so satisfying! • Pig's trotter noodles 🍜: The pig's trotters are stewed until tender, and the noodles are chewy. For transportation, you need to take a ferry 🛳️ from Beihai to Weizhou Island, which takes about an hour. On the island, you can get around by electric scooter 🛵, which you can rent to explore. For accommodation, I recommend staying by the sea or near Nanwan Street, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The sea view rooms are amazing, you can wake up to a beautiful sea view every morning and feel great! Tips: Remember to bring sunscreen ☀️, the UV rays by the sea are really strong.
