I was there twice this year, on January and March. Just don't visit this place on rainy season, because there will be water everywhere. I recommend this place for the flower landscape. You could take good selfie with different colour of flower as background. These gardens have been created for all to enjoy and it was a joy to see all the family parties there. There are a lot of steps, but there are also sloped paths, easier to negotiate, even with a wheel chair. Plenty of colourful flowers and fun things for children to do. I chose Selecta to visit because of monopoly game. I know Selecta for the name but not for the place. Selecta is a place with many attractions: beautiful park, swimming pools, bike ride, horse ride, and others. Nice place for family vacation. Selecta is basically a pool with strong nature background to support. If you're a nature lovers, you will find this place to be a heaven on earth. Clear and crisp air, combined with cool breeze. This place has been in major effort to modernize and improvement. The previously untouched areas has been arranged and much more garden-like. A perfect place for someone who want to have a nice walk in the nature. #urbanexplorer

Wisata Petik Apel Makmur Abadi

The complete name of this place is KTMA (Kelompok Tani Makmur Abadi). It's located about +/- 500m from main road. They have marketing office located accross the route to Selecta. When I tried to reach there, I went to their marketing office, pay 25rb/person, and then someone will guide you to the location (it's about 2km away from marketing office). There you can eat apples as much as you can. But if you want to take them home with you, you have to pay them per kg. What I like most is what they sell there, apple & jack fruit chips, and also apple cider. They taste really good & have reasonable price. Suggest to go there in the morning (before 10), wear shoes, and if necessary sun glasses & hat. Time to visit about 30-45 minutes, depend on how much apples you want to eat & pick. #urbanexplorer

Have good swimming pool with amazing view and fresh air. Hotel with comfort room, apple garden, strawberry garden, play ground, yard for outbond actifity, flying fox, mini ATV and we can buy fresh apple, snack apple and apple extract syrup. The area are mostly clean and very nice garden around the venue. The garden is really huge so we have to walk around the whole garden. They offered the package to pick the fruit of guava, apple, orange, each person allow to pick as much as 2 of each fruit. As part of the package we also got yoghurt drink, 1 pack of cherry tomatoes, and snack (nuggets and 1 glass of orange juice). #urbanexplorer

Coban Rais Waterfall

If you do think easy to reach the waterfall spot then you wrong, it has a quite long way to be on the waterfall spot as I guess it will be around 1 KM far with hard hills typical track. I suggest wearing climbing or mountain tracking shoes or sandal's because of the track is still raw and virgin and of course it very slippery, so you must be careful and strong enough to walk among this type of track. But, the hard and tiring way was get payed when you reach the waterfall spot. You will find a very beautiful and natural waterfall with a clean and fresh water on it, you may play in the water or do some light swim around the waterfall because there are some spots below the waterfall that you can do it all. Don't forget to bring your own snack because there are not many places selling some food and snacks around the waterfall spot (as I see there is only 2 or 3 "warung"). #urbanexplorer

Jawa Timur Park 1

It's a good place to have fun education in here for everyone either for kids and parents, the weather is quite cold so we won't feel hot. They apply educational theme for the park so you would expect to see educational displays and historical display. Then you can end your day with swimming in their water park. Ticket price is cheap compare to the facilities inside. Food and drinks are cheap inside the area. Must make sure arrive at 8 in the morning because they closed at 16.30 everyday, There wont enough time to enjoy all the facilities. Make sure your leg and feet is strong to enjoy the whole theme park. #urbanexplorer

When you feel to know how malang people gather just come to alun alun area and enjoy the various meal to fill your needs. No need of worry the price no need to worry how to ask come and enjoy only that. Better to visit during weekdays since not so crowded then you can enjoy any traditional and simple attraction there including tasting any local culinary with cheap price but remain delicious. You only need to pay IDR 3k for ferris wheel and 5k for merry go round. Around it many shops sell souvenirs and places to eat. If you only prefer snacks milk shops also avaikable. In the corner also there is a traditional market that sells many things. #urbanexplorer

Eco Active Park

This Eco Park is a very good way to educate children about nature and animals. The feeding sessions were great and the park was set in such a nice way for you to stroll around and enjoy. You can rent an e-bike for those who are not a big fan of walking. I think this place has everything you need. Playing and learning maybe their concept. And please still remember that this place is very big so prepare you comfort shoes. You can rent a bike actually to going to every spot here. Do not forget to take you best picture here but please do not use the flash with your camera or handphone camera. Please be care and kind with the animals. Enjoy! #urbanexplorer

Jawa Timur Park 3

You must to go to this place, they have Jurassic World of Indonesia version another thing was the place “Star legend” where they will take you to the most fantastic world Leader and of course Indonesian leader and era and the the last but not lease were the SuperHeroes hall, you could take pics and explore all things inside. I think this place is quite interesting for family vacation, especially children below 12. The ticket price was 120K in the weekend and public holiday, this include 1 extra ticket to Museum musik dunia (world music museum), funtech, infinite world, 6D cinemas, virtual arena (choose 1) #urbanexplorer

Museum Angkut

Museum angkut is one of the best museum in Indonesia that I have ever visited. The area is huge and they have different section that brings you to some other part of the world, e.g. Europe, United States, etc. They really maintain their quality and many of the cars are still in good condition. Definitely a highly recommended place to visit if you come to Malang or Batu. It's a good place for people who love classic cars. Their collection of cars is just amazing. We wouldn't be able to see those kind of cars in our everyday life. So visiting Museum Angkut would be the best option. Other than the transportation part, themes of each section is just perfect for photograph and some spots are just Instagramable! #urbanexplorer
