Hotel Visit | A hidden gem in the azure sea and white sand of Bawah.

After ILTM ended this year, I finally had the chance to visit the famous Bawah Reserve. With Singapore's visa-free policy for Chinese passports, Chinese guests no longer need to apply for multiple-entry visas to Singapore, making the whole trip more convenient. To get to Bawah, you need to take a fast ferry from Singapore Ferry Terminal to Batam, Indonesia, which takes about 40 minutes, and then transfer to a seaplane. The flight time of the seaplane is usually about 1 hour, but due to the weather, our flight took 1 hour and 40 minutes to land in the storm. Looking at the storm, I was a little disappointed. I thought the trip would end in heavy rain. Unexpectedly, I went back to the tent and fell asleep. When I woke up, I found that the wind and rain had stopped. The foggy island had lifted her mysterious veil and showed her charm. Bawah Reserve is composed of Bawah Island in the Riau Islands and its surrounding 6 small islands. Only Bawah Island and Elang Island have villas and tents for guests to stay in. There are 36 villas and tents on the main island, and Elang, as a private island, has only 6 villas. The island has complete fitness and wellness and Spa facilities, and there is a standard tennis court on both islands. Boathouse offers lunch and sunset barbecue dinner (every Monday and Friday), and Treetop Restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 17:00, so you can eat all day on the island. Bawah Reserve is an all-inclusive resort, and the price even includes a daily double Spa. All food and drinks except alcohol are included in the room rate. The minimum stay is 3 nights, and the round-trip seaplane needs to be paid separately. Bawah Reserve is also a paradise for diving enthusiasts. There are many high-quality diving spots around the island and surrounding islands. For snorkeling enthusiasts, there are a lot of blue corals and various fish in the lagoon between the main island and Elang Island. The sun shines directly to the bottom, and you can enjoy the brilliant underwater world.
