Magical Basel: a day trip worth your money

#europeonbudget Basel is a day trip perfect for those exploring Europe on a budget. Many of its most beautiful attractions are free. Explore the charming Old Town with its cobblestone streets and old-world beauty. Stop by the Basel Minster to visit the Reformed Church and its beautiful stained glass. You can also get a good view of the city over the river just outside the church. If it’s raining, you can visit the KunstMuseum which has art from the medieval ages to the present day. Some highlights include paintings by Monet and Cezanne. Visit the local Town Hall to admire its beautiful hand-painted murals and grab a cheap bite at the marketplace. A must-see for anyone in Switzerland! #summervacay #familytravel #museums #myitinerary
