Cruise from Italy to Greece

At the end of my solo trip around Europe, I took a boat trip from the port of Bari in Italy to Patras in Greece. This is a photo of the sky and the sea that I cherish. The sunset turned red immediately after we set sail. I had never seen such a red sunset. The contrast between the gray clouds and the red sunset was like a Monet painting. And the moonlight at night illuminated the shimmering water surface. What a beautiful sight, I got up early to take this photo of the sunrise. After about 16 hours on the ferry, we set sail at around 7pm and arrived at the port of Patras around noon the next day. On the boat, I met an Italian journalist couple and spent a lot of time with them. In fact, before boarding the boat, the boarding location was suddenly changed, and when I asked the couple where the boat was boarding because I didn't know where it was, they said they were also boarding the same boat and were looking for the boarding location, so they invited me to join them, and they kindly guided me, as they felt sorry for me, an Asian traveling alone. The boat was also spacious, so I first left my luggage on the rack at the bottom and went up the stairs and escalator to the top. I had reserved a seat in the room, so when I showed my ticket on the boat, I was handed a key card for the auto-lock system and began to search for my seat. By chance, an Italian couple had also reserved a seat in the same room. The husband is a political journalist and the wife is a film journalist. They recommended some movies to me, asked me how I traveled during my trip, and we had endless topics to talk about, including Japan and Italy, and we spent a long time together during the voyage. There were also many other people on board, including a woman from California who had been traveling around Europe with her dog for three months, and a group of people on a high school graduation trip. The beautiful scenery and interactions with the people on the voyage have become precious memories of an unforgettable trip for me. #Furitabi
