Casa Mila consists of two blocks of apartments, each one with its own entrance. The fourth floor apartment is now set up as a museum and reflects the lifestyle of a family in the early 1900s. The original ambience is recreated using furniture and household equipments of the time. Casa Mila was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984 for its monumental and artistic character and its universal value. It is one of the Gaudi masterpieces that attached millions of visitors a year.
