I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a memorable and relaxing vacation. How to get to Bantayan Island? Since we're from Davao City, we decided to fly to Cebu first. I booked a roundtrip ticket from Davao to Mactan Cebu Airport in advance, and I got a great deal at just 2,600 PHP per person. After landing at Mactan Airport, we took a taxi to the Hotel I had booked for a quick rest after our night flight. By the way, for booking flights and hotels, I recommend using the Trip.com app, it made everything so much easier. The Journey to Bantayan Island. At 4 a.m., we set off from our hotel and made our way to the North Bus Terminal in Cebu City. From there, we took a bus to Hagnaya Port, which cost us around 250 PHP. After arriving at Hagnaya Port, we boarded a boat to Santa Fe port on Bantayan Island for 360 PHP per person. Once we arrived on the Island, a travel agency picked ud up, though I won't mention their name because their service was disappointing. Nevertheless, we made it to our accommodation, rested for a while, and then went for lunch. In the afternoon, we explored the beach resort and enjoyed the serenity of the place. In the evening, we visited the center of Bantayan, were we had dinner. The food was delicious and budget friendly. on the second day, the travel agency sent a tricycle to take us around the island's tourist destinations. Here's where we went. Omagieca Mangrove Garden, Camp Sawi, Sandira Beach, Ogtong Cave, The Ruins and Santa fe Diving Spot. Each spot had its own unique charm, and it was amazing to see so many different sides of Bantayan. Day 3 stayed in Bantayan Island, we visited Balidbid Lagoon, a beautiful, peaceful spot where you can really relax and reflect. It's the perfect place to go if you need some quiet time to think things through. Later, we headed to Virgen Island, a stunning island with pristine white sand, crystal clear waters and even some restaurants. If you want to stay the night, they offer accommodation too. We loved the place so much that we're already planning to return for another adventure in the future. bantayan Island is truly a gem of Cebu, offering the perfect mix of relaxation, nature, and local culture.
