One of Wales' gems in any weather: Tryfan hike 🏔️

The day we arrived was super sunny ☀️ and we took on the longer hike at Tryfan that day - making it all the way up to the top! There are a couple of rocky parts nearer the top that are a fall risk, but if you like a little bit of an adrenaline rush, I highly recommend this as the reward is SO worth it! 🤩 It took us around 6 hours, as people with average hiking ability 👣, although that did include time stopped for the air ambulance to come and collect someone who'd injured themselves! 🚁 The following day the weather forecast was horrific 🌧️ and I was worried I was going to hate the hike, as I hate being cold and soaked! 🥶 However, due to the slippery mud risk, we did the shorter circular hike around the lower part of Tryfan - the café side. ☕ Which took around 3 hours. Once again the views made it so very worth it! 😍 The moody rainclouds settling is common here and I don't think Tryfan can ever manage to look anything but incredible. #visit_wales #hike #photographyspots #scenicspot #breathtakingviews #mountainhike
