Pray to Luang Pho Daeng at Wat Yi Sai

🏡Wat Pathombut Isararam was built in 1771 by wealthy Chinese traders who sailed junks for trade. Originally named Wat Yi Sai, 'Yi' means two, which is believed to refer to a couple. Another interpretation is that 'Yi Sai' means the second son-in-law. 🏘During the reign of King Rama IV–V, Chao Cha-um Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya renovated the sacred objects and requested a royal name change to Wat Pathombut Isararam.
