Experiencing the Blues of Life at The Moon Bar in Bangkok

Located on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel in Bangkok, The Moon Bar is open from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The minimum spend is 800 THB per person, which can be used towards your bill. Upon arrival, you are guided by staff, likely due to the formal attire required. You take an elevator to the 59th floor, pay the entrance fee, and receive a ticket that you should keep safe as it will be used to offset your bill (less is not refunded, but more must be paid). Drinks cost around 300-400 THB, and snacks are about 400-500 THB. It's recommended to arrive early to secure a spot by the edge, as the transition from the blue hour to sunset and then to nightfall is breathtaking. By 7 PM, edge seats are usually taken, leaving only middle seats available, which offer a great view but aren't ideal for photos. The glass bridge doesn't require much waiting; just head over when it's empty for a photo. The staff from the hotel to the bar provide excellent service, which is a big plus. There is a dress code, so make sure to dress up!
