SQ Boutique Hotel Bangkok: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City

My stay at SQ Boutique Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Tucked away in a quiet street yet conveniently close to major attractions, this charming hotel offers great value for money. The modern rooms are compact but well-designed, with comfortable beds, quality linens, and surprisingly good soundproofing. The standout feature is the rooftop pool - small but perfect for cooling off with fantastic city views. Breakfast had decent variety with both Thai and Western options. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations. Location is ideal - just 5 minutes walk to Phrom Phong BTS station and EmQuartier mall, yet the area feels peaceful. The hotel's contemporary Thai decor gives it character without being overwhelming. Minor drawbacks include small bathrooms and limited lobby space, but these are expected at this price point. Free WiFi worked well throughout my stay. Perfect for travelers who want comfort, style and location without breaking the bank.
