#Visit the exhibition Exhibition “200 YEARS JOURNEY THROUGH THAI MODERN ART HISTORY” Journey into the history of modern art in Thailand over the past 200 years through artworks from the past to the present The exhibition showcases over 100 rare national artworks from the collection of Korakom and Piriya Wachitphan, art collectors and founders of The Art Auction Center. The exhibition will take us back to valuable and important artworks in the history of Thai art, which are very difficult to find today. This exhibition showcases works by pioneering Thai artists from the reign of King Rama IV to new generation artists in the present era, weaving stories of 200 years of Thai art history through modern and contemporary Thai artworks, allowing viewers to experience the evolution of Thai art, which is diverse and uniquely beautiful. Prominent works on display in this exhibition include: - Khrua In Khong and Phra Thewaphinimit (Chai Thiam Silpachai), an artist who created works during the reign of King Rama IV that demonstrate the roots of Thai art. - Galileo Chini, an Italian artist who influenced the development of modern Thai art. - Misiam Yib-In-Soi, a female artist who inspired creativity and self-development in the art world. - Thawan Duchanee and Chakrapan Posayakrit, pioneers in creating unique and influential works of art in the Thai art world. - Montien Boonma, an artist who pioneered the work of combining mixed media, installation art, and conceptual art. - Alex Face, Suntur, Gongkan, Molly (Crybaby), and Mr. Kreme, new artists who are currently very popular.
