Guide: Street Photoshoot in BKK

#100waysoftravel Price: 💰💰💰 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a Singaporean, I've been to Bangkok countless times—eating, shopping, and getting massages. This time, I wanted something different with my partner. Despite visiting so often, I realized I never had those picture-perfect shots you see in Thai music videos. I found a photographer whose aesthetic really stood out to me. We opted for his 2-hour street photography package. Luckily, our shoot was during a Thai public holiday, so he was available. He offered us Package 2 for 9,000 baht, and he was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. He even had two assistants for lighting and a translator. Tips: 1. Comfortable Shoes: Even in flats, my back was aching from all the running, jumping, dancing, and squatting. 2. Flowy Outfits: Adds movement to your photos. 3. Outfit Colors: Choose colors that complement your backdrop. We chose white for our nighttime shoot in Chinatown, where the vibrant colors needed a contrast. 4. Hair Accessories: They help dark hair stand out in photos. 5. Eat Before: We were starving after the shoot and ended up grabbing snacks from 7-11. 6. Have Fun: It took a few minutes to get comfortable, but the photos improved as we focused on each other and had fun. Challenges: 1. Language Barrier: Communication was tricky, but hand gestures and simple words like "kiss" or "look at each other's eyes" worked. Patience is key! 2. Weather: It rained during our shoot, but waterproof makeup saved the day! The rain actually made the experience more memorable. We received our photos 15 days after the shoot, which was pretty fast. There were unlimited shots and edited images. Note: Payment is made in cash after the shoot, and you have to prepare your own makeup, hair, and outfits.
