Really nice stay at the Rembrandt Bangkok

I came to Bangkok for a week and I was overwhelmed with the choice in hotels, but I’m really happy I chose the Rembrandt. Located in Sukhumvit on Soi 18 it is close enough to the hustle and bustle but it’s far enough down the road to be nice and quiet. The hotel is a little older than most but it’s well maintained inside and has a charm to it. My room was huge and had amazing views out over the city, I came in rainy season but it was incredible watching the storms form the 19th floor windows. The staff are really friendly and happy to help with any questions about the hotel, area and Bangkok in general. There is a bar in the lobby, Mexican restaurant, Indian restaurant and a rooftop bar that also does snacks. The breakfast spread is amazing with your usual fruit, pastries and western food - but a nice selection of Asian food too to cater to a range of guests The hotel has an outdoor pool and a gym, which is nice and relaxed and again had good views over the area. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT stations, or the hotel can arrange a taxi for you with trusted vendors.
