💥🙏📌Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo, a beautiful temple in Chachoengsao. Pay homage to the golden chapel, the only one in Thailand. 🙏Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo is located on the bank of the Bang Pakong River, Pak Nam Subdistrict, Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. This temple was built in the late Ayutthaya period, about 200 years ago. I've been there, but I don't know for sure when it was built. In the past, this area was the location of the Burmese army during the reign of King Taksin the Great. King Taksin was the winner, so he built a pagoda to serve as a memorial to the victory. As for the name of the temple, the word Cho Lo comes from King Taksin's plan to attack the Burmese soldiers by sailing a boat along the river to make the Burmese soldiers believe that he came alone. Then he had his soldiers surround and attack again until he won. So he called it Chao Lo, but later the pronunciation changed to Cho Lo. Plus, this temple is located in the Pak Nam area, so it became the origin of the name Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo. The uniqueness of this temple that cannot be ignored is the golden chapel. The only one in Thailand that is painted gold all over the building, both inside and outside the chapel is very beautiful and magnificent. It is like a simulation of the image in the Daowadungsa heaven. The roof of the chapel is decorated with Naga and Dharmachakra. In the middle is a pavilion with an umbrella.
