New Bangkhla Temple

#Summer Destinations Unseen Temples in Chachoengsao Wat Mai Bang Khla, an old temple on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. Inside the temple, there is an ancient pagoda that is over 150 years old, including a Sukhothai-style bell-shaped pagoda and a rice bundle-shaped pagoda. Unseen, the only one in the Bang Pakong River basin, is the reclining Buddha statue or the dream-inducing Buddha statue in the temple. It is considered the largest reclining Buddha statue in the Bang Pakong River basin. The Buddha statue is cast from brass and was built in 1933. It is approximately 25 feet long. It is different from other reclining Buddhas in that the hands supporting the Buddha's head are facing down. This temple is considered to be an unconventional temple that many people may not know about, but the art here is very valuable. #Mr.Tourism

Wat Pho Bang Khla

Magnificent bats 🦇🦇 Learn the story of an ancient church 🕍 Wat Pho Bang Khla is located in Bang Khla District, next to the Bang Pakong River, approximately 23 km from Chachoengsao city. No one can say when the flying bats came to the temple. If you come in the evening, you might see a flock of bats flying out to find food. It's quite an exciting sight. There is also an ancient church that is believed to have been built around 2310-2325 during the reign of King Taksin the Great. It is in the Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin styles. The four-sided chapel is made of brick and plaster, with a gable roof covered with tortoise shell tiles made from burnt clay. Inside the chapel is a reclining Buddha statue. It is a tourist attraction that should not be missed. #VisitHistoricalSite #SongkranAttractions #Mr.Tourism #VisitHistoricalSite #SongkranAttractions

Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen

Beautiful and stunning, unseen golden church 🕍 Wat Cho Lo or Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo or better known as Wat Bot Thong, Bang Khla District Because the church of the temple is golden all over, both inside and outside, it is a highlight for those who see it. According to history, "Wat Pak Nam Cho Lo" is located on the bank of the Bang Pakong River. It is a temple in the late Ayutthaya period, built about 200 years ago, but it is not clear when it was built. In the past, this area was the location of the Burmese army, which led the land and navy to clash with the army of King Taksin the Great. As a result of the battle, King Taksin the Great won over the Burmese. Therefore, he ordered the construction of a pagoda as a memorial. The name "Cholo" comes from King Taksin the Great's plan to attack the Burmese soldiers by sailing a boat along the river, making the Burmese soldiers believe that he came alone. Then let his soldiers surround and attack until they were victorious, so they called him "Chao Lo", which later became distorted to "Cholo". This temple is located in the Pak Nam area. Therefore, it was combined with the name of the location, becoming “Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo” until today. The interior of the church is golden yellow, like the outside, including the various utensils that emphasize the color of gold as well, making it look more valuable and worth worshipping. Under the base of the principal Buddha image in the church, it is open for the faithful to crawl under the base of the Buddha image for good luck. This temple is located in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province, near famous tourist attractions, Bang Khla Floating Market and Wat Bat Mae Kai (Wat Pho Bang Khla). It can be said that it is another interesting tourist attraction and another unseen place in the city of Paet Riu. Open daily from 08.00 – 17.00 hrs. #VisitHistoricalSite #Mr.Tourism
