Wat Borommaratchakanchanaphisek Anusorn

Wat Borommaratchakanchanaphisek Anusorn, or Wat Leng Noei Yi 2, is a branch of Wat Leng Noei Yi in Yaowarat. It was built to honor King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his accession to the throne in 1996. The temple was built in the style of Buddhist art in the Ming and Qing dynasties, similar to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, resulting in very detailed and intricate patterns.
