Sri Pracharam Temple

Wat Sri Pracharam is an old temple on the banks of Khlong Om Kaew, a small canal that surrounds the temple. Wat Sri Pracharam is one of the large temples in Phan Thong. There is a chapel enshrining Buddha images in various postures, Luang Por Rod, Phra Sivali, the Emerald Buddha, and Phra Nak Prok. People often come to make merit, offer alms to monks, release fish, and apply gold leaf for good fortune. The temple is in a densely populated community. The temple grounds are often used for activities such as flea markets, annual events, and temple fairs during various festivals.
