Paying Respects to the Great Buddha at Wat Lahan Rai, Rayong Province.

Originally known as Wat Rai Waree due to its surrounding water, Wat Lahan Rai was established in 1811 by the first abbot, Luang Por Sang Thao. This temple is renowned in Rayong Province for its famous Eastern monk, Phra Khru Phawana Pirat, also known as Luang Pu Thim Isarigo. The temple is located in the city of Rayong and is distinguished by its large, golden Buddha statue and beautiful pagoda.
