Tanah Lot Temple in Bali

Tanah Lot is a popular tourist spot in Bali for both photographic and cultural reasons. It feels like a huge park to me as it is big and there are many sitting areas and attractions are scattered around the park. Entrance fee is IDR 60,000 ($6) per person for foreigners. The Tanah Lot Temple is located there. It rests on a large rock formation that has been shaped continuously over the years by tidal waves. People believe that the water at Tanah Lot is blessed as it is clear and not salty even though it comes from the sea. The place is worth a visit especially to watch the sunset.
