Ananda Ubud Resort

📍Jl. Raya Sanggingan, Ubud, Indonesia🍃 Located just north of Ubud, the resort is close to the Blanco Renaissance Museum and the Rudana Museum. Transportation around the area is relatively convenient, but it takes a while to get to the city center. The hotel provides a shuttle to Ubud Central Mall, but please note there's no return shuttle, so renting a scooter is more convenient!🚖 🌟 The hotel's decor embraces traditional Balinese style, with rooms featuring beautifully carved doors🍂 and covered porches with tables and outdoor benches. Upon check-in, the reception was warm, and the staff were friendly and helpful👍. The hotel has several pools, including an infinity pool that overlooks the rice paddies and jungle, offering breathtaking views. Mosquito nets, a minibar, a refrigerator, and a coffee/tea maker are provided in the rooms, making me feel at home during my travels. 🛏️ Our room was spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding and complimentary bottled water. The bathroom, though a bit dated, was still quite nice. One thing to note is that the Wi-Fi signal has limited coverage and is only available in the lobby🤳. However, the natural scenery from the room made up for this minor drawback. Every morning, we were greeted by the beauty of the rice paddies and jungle, especially the view of the terraced landscape from the balcony. In the evening, the streetlights along the path created a wonderful ambiance. ✅ The hotel environment is beautiful and particularly suitable for families with children. We stayed here for several nights with our kids, and everyone loved it. Walking from the rice terraces to other villas, we enjoyed many beautiful views and even spotted large blue birds!🌾 The kids had a blast in the pool, where they could swim while enjoying the forest view. The hotel also offers yoga and meditation classes, providing a perfect place to relax and unwind. 🌇 In addition to the wonderful experiences within the hotel, there are also many great places to explore in the surrounding area. We highly recommend Indus Restaurant across the street; you must try it! There are also some other fantastic restaurants nearby, such as Balinese Home Cooking, Room 4 Dessert, and Warung Scooting Ubud, all of which we enjoyed. Ananda Ubud Resort not only allowed us to experience traditional Balinese charm but also provided a complete holiday amidst the tranquil rice paddies.
