Amanjiwo, a hidden gem in Ubud

Recently, I stayed at the Amanjiwo, a hotel I had been dreaming of visiting. It was amazing! The hotel is located in Kedewatan, just a 10-minute drive from the bustling center of Ubud, making it very convenient. When we arrived at the airport, the hotel's transfer service made the journey incredibly easy, and the driver enthusiastically introduced us to the local culture, making me look forward to this vacation. The hotel's location is perfect, with a stunning view of the canyon right across from it. The architectural style of the hotel incorporates elements of traditional Balinese villages, making it a true paradise. During our stay, every staff member was friendly and welcoming. There was no deposit required at check-in, and all procedures were seamless, which made us feel very comfortable. The hotel even upgraded us to a Valley Suite for free, complete with a private pavilion where we could enjoy our meals. The room had a classic feel, with simple yet comfortable decor. The most special feature was the outdoor bathroom, where we could take a bath together. Although there might be some small animals visiting, it didn't affect our mood at all. Breakfast was included in the room rate, with a wide variety of options and fresh fruit replenished daily. My favorite was the mangosteen, which the staff quickly delivered (full marks for thoughtfulness⭐). The only minor downside was that the bed was a bit damp, but that was part of being close to nature. When I wanted to relax, I enjoyed sitting on the room's balcony, admiring the view of the valley and listening to the sound of the Ayung River. It was a rare moment of tranquility. The hotel's infinity pool was also fantastic, with a depth of over 1.5 meters, allowing me to swim to my heart's content. The afternoon tea from 16:00 to 17:00 was also delightful, with a choice of black coffee or ginger tea, accompanied by sweet treats that left a lasting impression. There are plenty of places to explore around the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the center of Ubud, which is very convenient. We visited many restaurants in Ubud, such as Room 4 Dessert and Balinese Home Cooking, where we enjoyed delicious local dishes. Of course, there were some minor flaws, such as the average dinner, but these didn't affect the overall wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay, immersed in tranquility, comfort, and luxury. Amanjiwo is truly the perfect choice for a vacation, and I highly recommend it to those who want to escape the hustle and bustle and fully enjoy a peaceful paradise. I look forward to experiencing this wonderful place again!
