Campuhan ridge walk: easy, pretty, fun!

Campuhan ridge walk is one of the most popular and recognizable attractions of Bali. If you don’t recognize a photo with the pathway and the palm tree next to it - you haven’t been to Bali. It’s a 2-kilometer #hikingtrails that’s really easy to walk regardless of how active you are in your life. And if it’s too easy, you can always run through it, but then you’ll miss all the breathtaking views. And they are truly breathtakingly stunning. The lush green trees covered in golden sunlight and the contrast of these colors against the bright blue sky - all of it makes you feel like you are in some fairytale place where everything is possible. At the end of the 30-minute walk (I walk slowly, but it might take even longer if you stop to appreciate the beauty or take photos), there will be a village where you can reward yourself for the workout with handmade ice cream and check out some art made by talented locals. Warning: please don’t go in the afternoon unless you want to be thoroughly cooked on both sides by the merciless #bali sun. But then again, the afternoon seems to be the least crowded time, so perhaps it’ll be worth it - but bring a hat. Location: located in Ubud and easy to find on Google Maps. Kelusa, Payangan, Jl. If you are really unlucky, you’ll encounter a snake, but in that case, you can’t blame the ridge walk 🤷🏻‍♀️ Fees: free and no parking fee, either (which is surprising cause those are collected everywhere) Instagram rating: it’s 10/10 Instagram worthy.
