Today, I want to share with you a super cool attraction in Baguio, Philippines - the Igorot Stone Kingdom 🧐. This stone castle is quite unique. It was designed by Pio Velasco and opened to the public in 2021, quickly becoming one of the most popular attractions in Baguio 😜. When you step inside, it's like entering a primitive and mysterious world. The park features stone walls showcasing the rock-laying techniques of the Igorot people. These stone walls are stacked layer upon layer in the mountains and forests, telling the story of ancient technology and wisdom 🤩. There's also a gold mine, quietly standing there, like a silent storyteller, recounting the blood and tears of the colonial era to visitors, making you ponder history 😔. Of course, the most interesting part is the Igorot band, performing traditional songs and dances. The exotic music and dance instantly transport you into a unique cultural atmosphere 🥳. The stone castle is only 5 km from downtown Baguio, but it gets crowded during holidays. So, if you plan to visit, I recommend getting up early and renting a car or taking a taxi to avoid the crowds and enjoy your visit 🚕. The castle's terrain is quite steep, and the sense of accomplishment when you reach the top is indescribable. There's also a café at the top, where you can sit and relax, enjoying the view from above, with the beautiful scenery of Baguio City in full view. It's truly amazing ☕. The stone castle was closed for a while due to an earthquake and reopened in July. If you visit now, you can experience its unique charm, and the weather in December is more refreshing and pleasant. It's also the perfect time for strawberries, so after visiting the stone castle, you can enjoy strawberry picking 😉.
