I hiked through the forest trails, spotting hihi, takahe, and even a few curious kakapo. I felt so connected to nature! The spring air was filled with birdsong, and the forest was vibrant with new growth. Hiking through the island's stunning landscapes, surrounded by unique wildlife, was an unforgettable experience.
