Exploring the Ancient Silk Road Caravanserai: Tash Rabat

Tash Rabat is a renowned historical site located in Kyrgyzstan. This ancient caravanserai is nestled within the stunning Tian Shan Mountains, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Once an important stop along the Silk Road, it holds significant historical and cultural value. The entrance fee is 150 yuan, and if the gate is closed upon arrival, visitors can head to the guesthouse opposite, where staff will assist in opening it. When I visited on April 1st, there were three guesthouses in the valley, two of which were open, while the third was setting up yurts. The walk from the main road to Tash Rabat takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. The return journey took slightly longer, over 3 hours in total, as extra caution was needed.
