[Miyato Shrine/Saitama Prefecture] A shrine that enshrines the god of handsome men

Miyato Shrine in Asaka City, Saitama Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Five deities are enshrined here, including Menashi, known as the god of handsome men, Izanagi, Izanami, Inakuratama, and Takara Tamatarehime. The founding date is unknown. It is said that the shrine was founded after the Genroku period (1688-1704), when the former Miyato village was divided into upper and lower villages, and was established as a separate shrine for Zao Gongensha in the main village! There is a torii gate ⛩ on a side street of Miyatobashi Street, and as soon as you pass through it, you will come to stone steps. The shrine grounds are located a little higher. As you go up the stone steps, you will find the Chikaraishi 🪨, Yakuwariishi, and sacred tree nearby.
