As the hustle and bustle of Lake Wakatipu fades away, Arrowtown is curled up in the folds of Cromwell Gorge and weaving an autumn myth. This ancient gold mining town was called "Golden Arrow" by Chinese miners in the 19th century. Every year in the last week of April, Arrowtown, New Zealand, will be plunged into a ten-day "Autumn Carnival"!
