Alex Kafw serves coffee, refreshments comfort food lovingly served in Poblacion, Argao Cebu. Rustic ambience, clean restrooms, affordable prices. Alex was serving as Argao Tourism commissioner when he passed away at a young age, in 2009. He saw the potential of the town's rich cultural heritage to bolster its economic development by becoming one of Cebu's top tourism destinations. Areas in the southern half of Cebu possessed numerous places and activities of interest not only to local tourists but even for those coming from all over the world. Argao has the largest area for heritage. Barangay Poblacion alone has 60 historical sites that date back to the Spanish colonial period, that are not only well preserved but currently in active use. Though he spent many summer vacations as child in Argao, he finally made Argao his home when he moved his family there for good in 2002 and he opened a diner in an abandoned bodega in Poblacion together with his wife Eva .
