If you're a fan of Piero della Francesca, this is a church you can't miss. This fresco depicts the epic story of the cross on which Christ was crucified, dating back to the Book of Genesis and the 7th century. As it is a mural in the Bacchi Chapel of the Church of San Francesco, you can't see it unless you come here. Piero della Francesca spent 14 years on this mural. The 10 scenes that make up the story starting with Adam and Eve fill the entire wall. The composition of the story, as well as the way the colors and light are used, are elegant and you never get bored of looking at them.
