Sichuan Anyue Yuanjue Cave day2 The longest motorcycle trip in my life

Yuanjue Cave is located on Yunju Mountain in Jinhua Village, Yueyang Town, Anyue County, 1 kilometer southeast of the county town. It began in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Five Dynasties and Song Dynasty, and was named for the twelve Yuanjue stone carvings excavated during the Song Dynasty. On May 25, 2006, it was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The stone carvings are concentrated in the south and north rocks of Yunju Mountain, with a length of 186 meters in the statue area, including 103 cultural relics numbers, 1983 statues of various sizes, 25 inscriptions and steles, and 1 stone pagoda. The stone carvings in the north rock mainly feature Guanyin and Sakyamuni, characterized by large niches and large statues. The most spectacular is the 'one Buddha and two Guanyins', each carved in three large niches. The carvings from the Five Dynasties in the south rock include up to 27 themes, featuring new content such as 'Sixteen Arhats', 'Vaisravana', and 'Hell Sutra Change Niches'. The statues are exquisite and delicate, with fine clothing patterns and smooth lines, embodying the richness and elegance of the Tang Dynasty as well as the grace and magnificence of the Song Dynasty.
