A Peaceful Day in Nature’s Embrace: Anseong Farmland

Nestled just an hour and a half from Seoul, this beautiful stretch of rural land in Gyeonggi-do blends nature, animals, and fun activities in a way that’s perfect for all ages. When I visited in early October, the weather was crisp, the leaves were just starting to turn, and the air smelled of earth and harvest. The wide open spaces instantly made me breathe deeper. What I loved most was how interactive the whole experience was—this wasn’t just a "look and see" kind of place. I got to feed sheep and deer, milk a cow (yes, really!), and even try my hand at horse-riding, which was equal parts thrilling and calming. The highlight of my visit, though, was simply walking through the fields of golden cosmos and sunflowers. With the gentle hills rolling out into the horizon, the views were nothing short of magical—especially during sunset.
