If you want to see a truly wild "natural" plum blossom forest, and a spectacular "sea of fragrant snow" stretching for ten miles, you can take a walk to Meihua Valley in Hanggai Town, Anji. Enjoy a spring outing by hiking outdoors and strolling through the plum blossom forest. Meihua Valley boasts 8,000 mu of plum trees, with over 50,000 trees. It is one of the most spectacular plum blossom appreciation spots in Zhejiang Province. It is suitable for self-driving. The journey takes about 2 hours from Hangzhou. The best time to visit is from late February to early March. The valley has been developed into a "sea of plum blossoms" scenic area, and tickets are required. However, there are plum blossoms everywhere in the village. It takes about 4-5 hours to walk the entire route, and 2-3 hours for the highlights.
