Sofea Jane Waterfalls

Sofea Jane Waterfalls. You don’t have to go far to escape the concrete jungle. On the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, tucked behind Zoo Negara, Gombak Forest Reserve hides within it four waterfalls: Jeram Kubang Gajah aka Sofea Jane Falls Lata Syam or Sham Lata Pinang Lata Gitar aka Neelofa Falls Set along Sungai Ampang, which eventually feeds into the Klang river, all are accessible to even the most amateur hiker. Located just beyond Kampung Kemensah in Ulu Klang, the trailhead is set between the very end of the narrow village road and the ATV Adventure Park. Plied regularly by ATV vehicles, the trail is bordered on one side by the road and farms at first before giving way to the jungle, and a multi-million dollar development on the other, which stretches all the way back to Ukay Perdana. #newphotographer#hiking#naturalwonders#hikingtrails
