Highly recommend the stone men of the grasslands, deer stones, and Jinshan rock paintings! 📚F1 - F3 basic space settings: You can rent an interpreter at the entrance of the exhibition hall, and there are also interpreters who regularly introduce the rich and serious content. If time permits, you can follow the voluntary explanation for a visit. 1️⃣First and second floor exhibition halls "Golden History Rhyme": According to the conventional thinking, it starts from the ancient civilization and combs the historical relics of the Altay region in chronological order. The most eye-catching is the stone men of the grasslands, each of which is very interesting. The ones seen in the Urumqi Autonomous Region Museum are replicas, and here are basically originals. Deer stones are also very exciting, but they are arranged in a small corner, so don't miss them. As an interesting part of the nomadic culture, deer stones are not only distributed in the Altay region, but also in other regions of the Eurasian continent. Rock paintings, as an early human art closely related to mural art, have always been fascinating. This time I was able to see a large number of original rock paintings, although the exhibits are relatively small in size and the exhibition hall is not large, but they are still exciting. Especially the records of early human skiing images, a replica of a Dundublak No. 1 rock shed. There are a large number of prehistoric rock paintings distributed around the Altai Mountains, known as the "Thousand Mile Rock Painting Corridor". In the huge stone caves on the east slope of the Dundublak River Valley in Altay City, Xinjiang, south of the Altai Mountains, unique colored rock paintings of several characters hunting in skiing were discovered, known as skiing hunting colored rock paintings.
