Bower stone is 9 kilometers 15 minutes drive from Keswick, you can also take the bus 77/77A from Keswick. The stone is a gentle 10 minutes walk 1/4 miles from the main road. People say it weighs 2000 tons with a circumference of 90 feet. A wooden ladder is replaced by the metal in 2019. You can climb on the ladder to the top for a view and sit on top. One stone on the left side got small holes that can look through the other side. You can also practice your rock climbing skill below.
