Some unforgettable places of Alger When I was in my office today, I received a notification which reminds me this day last year was my first day in Alger. My first journey of the Africa continent. All of a sudden, bunch of memories came back once again. When I first arrived, I approached the city with a sense of total novelty. When I look to the left, I see the gleaming airport terminal, the luxury hotels with their bright lights, the bank buildings with their glass walls glittering in the sunset; while on the right side of the road, there are low, plain, rustic residential buildings, the tip of the Xuan Li tower with an old, worn-out loudspeaker, and the smoke billowing from the barbecue restaurants on the roadside ...... This is a Both modern and traditional city.
