The reason I went there was because I traveled with a Brazilian friend, and his friend's acquaintance lived in this area, so I was invited to his house. I visited Albufeira, one of the most popular tourist cities in Portugal, with a special guide from a local. This area with fantastic beaches is located in the Algarve region, and it is a coastal area where you can find beautiful beaches. Since the town is small, you can easily explore on foot, and it is close to Faro Airport. The weather is mild all year round, but summer is the peak season. I visited in January, which is winter, so there weren't many tourists, so I was able to travel leisurely and quietly. Praia de albufeira The first place I went to when I arrived was Albufeira Beach The white buildings, brown sand, blue sky, and sea were really beautiful. Pontao A path was built so that you could walk close to the sea, and it was called Pontao. Miradouro do pau da Bandeira This is not a tourist attraction, but rather a viewpoint near the beach, a village, and a famous old town. The white buildings and vintage feel are so nice, a uniquely Portuguese atmosphere. Marina de vilamoura A hot place located about 20 minutes by car from Albufeira. It is a tourist attraction with various shops, restaurants, and bars surrounding the coast.
