A hidden Smurf village in Italy

On the way to southern Italy, warm sunlight poured through the window. At the end of that road, I arrived at Alberobello. 🚗 It took about an hour's drive from Bari, and from that moment, a fairy tale world unfolded before my eyes. The path between the white stone walls and the light shining under the gray stone roofs were so beautiful. ✨ As you walk through the village, you'll find small houses with round stone roofs everywhere. These houses are called 'Trullo,' 🪨 and they are built by stacking stones without using any cement. They shine dazzlingly under the sunlight, and 🌙 at night, they are warmly embraced by yellow lights. Each roof seems to tell a different story, so as I walked, I kept wondering, "What story does this house hold?" 🌀🏡 When the sun sets, soft lights turn on between the Trulli 💡, and at the end of the alleys, small shops start to light up one by one. In front of them, you can hear the laughter of people enjoying wine and chatting, making me want to join them. 🍷 However, I stopped by one of the shops, bought some ham, a bottle of wine, and a cute Trulli-shaped liquor bottle, and returned to my accommodation. 🏡 At the accommodation, I poured wine with my friends and shared various stories. As we drank, even though it was late at night with no music or flashy lights, people were still coming and going, and gentle laughter and singing could be heard from the streets. 🎶 There weren't too many people, but the moderately bustling atmosphere was so romantic—it felt like watching a small festival in a rural village! During your trip to Italy, I highly recommend spending a day in Alberobello instead of the busy cities. 🇮🇹 You can have a unique experience staying in a Trullo instead of an ordinary accommodation, and it's a village where the beauty of slowness lives on.
