Hiroshima 🇯🇵 Sandankyo

This large canyon is located in the Nishichugoku Mountains National Park and is approximately 16 kilometers long. Here you can enjoy one of the most concentrated canyon views in western Japan. There are many scenic spots in the canyon, including the "Kurofuchi", "Sarutobi", "Second-stage Falls", and "Three-stage Falls". It is also famous for its autumn leaves (late October to late November). There are two ferries in Sandan Gorge, the Kurofun and the Sarutobi, and the scenery on the ferry is different from that on the walking trail. *The second waterfall can only be accessed by taking the Sarutobi ferry.
